Caring for your pure wool Berber rug is easy and can be done by hand. Regularly, once a week, vacuum your rug to remove dust and debris. To protect your rug from stains, treat spills with a mild soapy solution and blot immediately with a towel. For stubborn stains, you can use the same soapy solution and let it sit on the stain for a few minutes before gently blotting it with a towel.
It is also advisable to take your pure wool Berber rug outside, hang it on a sturdy clothesline or railing, and remove dust by gently beating it with a rug beater.
